The Heights Mercantile and Rice Village Farmers Markets

are rain or shine markets created to encourage the local community to interact with their local producers and get to know where their food is coming from. These markets host a variety of vendors that sell everything from locally sourced produce and grass-fed meat to neighborhood honey. Coffee and baked good vendors supply a great jump start to your morning, and flower vendors are guaranteed to bring color and sunshine to your home. We have chefs creating meals for you to enjoy at the market and for you to take home for later. Nutritionist-owned, wellness is at the core of these markets, so you will even find niche products like mineral-rich sea moss and small batch herbal teas.

All of our vendors are kind, hardworking Houstonians who sell some of the most amazing products. They are the heartbeat of the community, and purchasing at these markets not only supports your health, but the health of the community. We love seeing you shop our markets, but we really love seeing the shoppers engage the vendors - you will learn so much this way! See you all Sunday!

Heights Mercantile Farmers Market Video

Heights Mercantile Farmers Market - 714 Yale St.

Every 2nd + 4th Sunday of the Month

The Heights Mercantile location is Casey’s first market baby. Established in 2019, the space has changed how engaging in local agriculture can look and feel. In a city where farmers markets are a younger concept, Heights is an important piece of the local food movement. Located along the Heights hike and bike trail it’s an extremely walkable market and a great extension of the area.

Rice Village Farmers Market - 2504 Amherst St.

Every 1st + 3rd Sunday of the Month

The Rice Village location was established in 2020 and has been a large part of a revitalization effort of the Rice Village district. Something that differentiates it from the Heights location is its ability to host food truck vendors and well as more onsite cooking.
