Postino Heights

Cultivating Connections, One Sip at a Time

In the Heights Mercantile neighborhood is a cozy sanctuary for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike – Postino Heights. We sat down with the team at Postino Heights to learn more about their journey, the misconceptions they encounter, and the exciting developments that have made them a beloved fixture in The Heights.

"We’re that feel-good spot tailor-made for all-day hangouts, overdue catchups, date nights, family outings, and more”

Since its inception in 2015, this charming wine café has become an integral part of the community, offering a unique blend of approachable wines, delectable local ingredients, and a warm atmosphere that invites patrons to unwind and connect.

According to Postino Heights, their establishment is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of the Heights itself. "The Heights was on the cusp of becoming a lively destination for foodies and art lovers that we know today, and we knew we would fit right in," shares the team. They take immense pride in curating a selection of unique and approachable wines, complemented by shareable plates featuring locally sourced ingredients. “We’re that feel-good spot tailor-made for all-day hangouts, overdue catchups, date nights, family outings, and more,” the team remarked.

One of the misconceptions they often encounter is related to their famed bruschetta. "We’re known for our wine and our bruschetta, but for those who have never dined with us before, 'bruschetta' might conjure the image of diced tomatoes with basil on a crisp slice of bread," they explain. While they do offer a classic Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Bruschetta, their creative plays on the dish include combinations such as Mushroom and Mascarpone, Sweet N’ Spicy Pepper Jam and Goat Cheese, and Brie, Apple, and Fig Spread.

Postino Heights has also seen remarkable growth, expanding their presence to five more locations throughout Houston, including Montrose, Uptown Park, Town & Country, Cinco Ranch, and The Woodlands. "When we opened our first Houston location in The Heights, we were immediately embraced by the community, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the outpouring of love we’ve seen over the years," they express. With their 10-year anniversary in Houston on the horizon, they eagerly anticipate celebrating this significant milestone with the community.

In addition to their delectable offerings, Postino Heights has introduced the Wine Cult, a wine club curated for enthusiasts who appreciate unique and exquisite wines. "Every bottle showcased in this program is handpicked by our advanced sommelier for its unique back story and a one-of-a-kind flavor profile," they share. This exclusive club not only offers rare wines but also provides members with personalized experiences and exclusive perks, deepening the connection between the establishment and its patrons.

Engaging with Postino Heights is effortless. You can follow them on social media @PostinoWineCafé to stay updated with their latest offerings and events. For those seeking insider goodies and happenings, joining their E-Club not only keeps you in the loop but also treats you to a complimentary Board of Bruschetta. And if you're looking for a unique and affordable way to enjoy your evenings, don't miss their special wine and bruschetta board pairing offer every Monday and Tuesday after 8 pm for just $25.

As Postino Heights continues to flourish in the heart of The Heights, it remains a testament to the power of community, exceptional culinary experiences, and the joy of sharing good wine with great company. So, whether you're a wine connoisseur, a food enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a welcoming space to unwind, Postino Heights warmly invites you to be a part of their story, one sip and bite at a time.
