They are a family company with 68 years of experience in textile development, garment design, and manufacturing. TASC’s dedication to sustainability is equally as impressive as the product, with attention to detail from supply chain transparency to environmentally responsible packaging.

Though the brand began and developed in the city of New Orleans, the Houston location is simply a continuation of the same values and personability. Store Manager, Keely Elwood, has worked hard to introduce TASC to the Houston community since the storefront opened in February of 2020. Her family is such a welcoming presence, that you can’t help but stick around and chat for a while.

I have come to know and love TASC as a consequence of our farmers market location in Rice Village. When we were looking for involvement from permanent tenants on the property, we were greeted with excitement from the TASC team. It has been the perfect fit, because they share our passion for the local community and the sustainability of business practices.

You can catch TASC at almost every Rice Village farmers market, sharing their knowledge and passion for what they do. And you can always find market staff sporting their TASC clothing year-round as they work outdoors through rain or shine markets, dealing with set up and tear down.
